Daily Mindfulness 9/13/12

When we are mindful and present, we are able to better be there for our fellows.  If we listen mindfully, we are able to touch the compassion within our hearts, and feel the other person’s emotions.  Mindfulness helps us sympathize and relate.  It is a tool which allows us to break down the barriers of “self” that we have created, and love unconditionally.

We begin to accept the suffering of others, and eventually find that the suffering of others is the suffering of us all.  Mindfulness allows us to listen, touch the other’s heart, and connect with our own heart.
